Before you begin, take out your English copy and write the title "Plurals" and today's date.
Write out each rule and do the examples as you read!

Now you can carry on with reading and doing your work!
1. Most nouns= JUST ADD S
3. If the noun ends in a:
CONSONANT+ Y= DROP THE Y & ADD IES
eg 1 lady, 2 ladies

4. Nouns ending with:
-ch, -sh, -ss, -x or -es ADD ES
eg 1 church, many churches
1 bush, many bushes
1 glass, many glasses
1 box, many boxes

(d) address=
(e) fox=
5. Many nouns ending in -f or -fe, CHANGE THIS TO A "V" AND ADD ES
eg 1 Scarf, 2 scarves
